Illusion of Balance

There is an illusion of balance out there when it comes to government. Many believe that somehow just enough government doing something is good and too much is bad. Of course we see that is not true. It is simply the handing over of power to people and pretending they will be better people. Essentially the people who have the responsibility to ensure that balance is proper (voters) are the ones giving it to other people and pretending other people (politicians) are doing the right thing. If we cannot maintain the balance through personal choice then we will never maintain it by giving it away. It will only exacerbate the problem and remove choice from our lives. 

If you want balance then you cannot give the power to create it away. You must keep ahold of it an ensure it is maintained. No one will ever be more interested in your well being than you. Those who would claim to 'take care' of others by using government only makes slaves of people. Help must be given freely and accepted freely. Doing this any other way is harmful and tips the scales in favor of tyranny.
