2014 Precinct Conventions

The 2014 precinct conventions are comming! The Libertarian party of Texas holds conventions every 2 years. 

When: Tuesday, March 11th @ 7pm

Where: All Bexar precinct conventions will be held at this central location Tripoint Center3233 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, Texas 78212

Bring your voter card. You may not affiliate with the Libertarian Party this year if affiliated with the Republican or Democrat parties by voting in their primaries.

Discussion Meeting: 2/18 @ 7pm

Discussion Meeting

When: February 18th @ 7pm

Where: La Fonda Sunset Ridge, 6402 North New Braunfels Avenue, San Antonio, TX

Two governor nominees will be at our meeting: Kathie Glass and Robert Bell. We will discuss the upcoming conventions and how the process works. If you have questions about affiliating with the party or how to get involved this is an excellent meeting to attend. 

We meet every 3rd Tuesday every month. Our meetings are open to the the public. We hope to see you there!

We also have a Toastmaster group that meets every Thursday at 7:30 to practice our liberty speaking skills.

Business Meeting 2/8 @ 5pm

Where: Arthur Thomas, 3731 Mill Meadow Dr, San Antonio Texas 78247

There will be food provided. Most likely pizza.

We will be having a business meeting to vote on some upcoming plans.

The current agenda:

  • Officers Reports: Chair, Vice chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian
  • Candidates Committee Report
  • Convention Locations (Precinct, County, & discussion of Districts)
  • Fundraising Choices
  • Future budget
  • ByLaws Committee
 
We strongly encourage affiliates to join. The meeting is also open to the public. These are not like our discussion meetings. They are where we conduct party business.

When: January 30th @ 7:30pm

Christmas Party 12/8

We will be celebrating a casual holiday evening as our last get together of the year. It will be potluck so everyone can bring a dish they want to share. If you would like to coordinate items you can contact Jennifer Sparks (events@lpbexar.org). Also please just send Jennifer a quick note so we will know that you are coming. This is a great opportunity to bring a friend in a casual and friendly setting. Next year will be a busy election year and our convention will be coming up fast. So lets meet and enjoy the holiday and each others company before jumping into the new year!
 
Don't forget giving the gift of liberty. Every donation helps bring the message and hope of a responsible government to more voters!
